Thus, searches for padded clothing have multiplied by four on the social network, while sweaters, slouch socks and furry slippers have become essential.
After the sports boom and the rise of the athleisure comes the earthflow: users will choose more sportswear with “a touch of elegance”, as stressed Pinterest. Searches for oversized clothing have tripled, as well as interest in soft sets, which have risen 185%, or cotton overalls for women, searches for which have soared 160%.
Closing the podium of preferences in fashion is the personalization of garments. The do it yourself has earned a place in users’ routine, who increasingly seek inspiration to give new life to old clothes. Searches to embroider sweatshirts have increased sevenfold in recent weeks, as well as those for transformed clothing, which have grown six-fold, or for ideas to paint jeans, which have exploded three times.
